Dining Policies

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.

  • Remember that meal cards are non-transfereable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

  • One piece of fruit or one dessert may be removed from the Caf at each meal period.

ID Card Info

Your ID card must be presented each time you enter the dining room to eat. If you lose your ID card, inform the cashier and you will be put on the lost list. You will have 3 days to find your ID card, after which time you will need to purchase a new one. Replacement cards are $15.00.

If you have lost your ID card, please contact Public Safety so that they may issue you a new one. The Public Safety non-emergency phone number is: 493-3208.

Do You Have Particular Dietary Needs?

No problem!  Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements.  For more information, please contact the Campus Dining office at 805.493.3203.

A Plan For You!

Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2011-2012 academic year.  If you have any questions regarding these plans, please contact the Campus Dining office at 805.493.3203.

We have six different meal plans available at CLU. These plans run weekly from Monday through Sunday. If you do not use your meals you lose them, but every Monday they are replenished.

19 Plan

You have the flexibility of 19 meals per week and includes
50 Bonus Points with this plan.

15+ Plan

This plan allows you 15 meals each week and includes 200 Bonus
Points per semester.

12+ Plan

For the lighter eater that eats at the dining hall occasionally and eats meals/snacks at one of our retail locations. This plan allows you 12 meals each week and includes 225 Bonus Points per semester.

8+ Plan

This is a basic needs plan that allows you eight meals each week. This plan may suit the student that spends a lot of time away from the resident halls and only eats one meal a day at the Dining Commons. Includes 275 Bonus Points per semester.

5+ Plan

This plan accommodates those students who want the flexibility of having one meal on campus each day during the week in addition to 300 Bonus Points per semester.

The Bonus Point Plan

Purchase 275 Bonus Points, dollar for dollar, and all of your dining purchases are tax free! Bonus Points roll over from Fall to Spring Semester, but they must be used by the end of the academic year (May).

Munch Money

Munch Money is a great solution for purchasing food at the Centrum, Mogen Market and Kiosk. It can be added to your Student ID card instantaneously at the Campus Dining Office for amounts as low as $25. Whenever you make a purchase, simply present your card to the cashier and the amount will be deducted from your balance. Munch Money does not expire at the end of the academic year, but instead continues with you throughout your time here at CLU. As an additional bonus, if you purchase $100 of Munch Money, we will give you an extra $10.

Bonus Points and Meal Plans can be used at all Food locations.

All meal plans, excluding the Bonus Point Plan, include 3 bonus meals per semester. These bonus meals can be used to treat a guest. Your meal plan is non-transferable, so any unused meals at the end of the week are forfeited. Each Monday your meal balance is reset. All Bonus Points are forfeited at the end of the academic year in May.
